ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Lucy Parrianen in an experienced teacher with insight into what entertains and educates children at the same time. She recognises that children are constantly learning, at home as well as at school, and this inspired her to start writing her own books to help boost children’s interest in the world around them.  She has a passion for children’s books and using them as a tool to inspire, educate, entertain and enlighten. Using her teaching qualifications, professional development and classroom experience, Lucy has created a children’s picture book with links to the science national curriculum and after 4 years as a classroom teacher, Lucy decided it was time to fulfil her dream and publish her own children’s book (with support from Whitewater Publishing Ltd).
